The AD Health Check Tool will analyze each domain controller and provide an easy to read status report. The tool will run 20+ diagnostic tests and provide a pass or fail for each test. In addition, you can get the critical events logs and test DNS for each domain controller. By using the built-in scheduler you can schedule daily email reports on the health of your domain controllers.

Requirements:
- Requires domain administrator rights.
- If running on a non-domain controller the RSAT tools will need to be installed.
How to Use the AD Health Check Tool
Step 1
Click the “Select Domain Controller” button and select the DCs you want to test.
Step 2
Click “Test Options” and change the default options if needed.
Step 3
Click run to start the tests.
If you have any failed tests you can click the log file to view the details.
If you select to include the event logs click the event logs tab.
Step 4
To run this tool on an automated schedule click “Scheduler”. Choose “AD Health Monitor” from the task type.
